So many good news came this week! As you all know, Friday came the happiest and good news of all, our second angel, Baby Job arrived healthy and normal. The weekend passed with so many well wishers and congratulatory messages on my FB status and wall. Tuesday came and a friend of mine informed me through YM chat that I am truly loved by Mr. G! Oooowwsss??? That was my initial reaction! Me??? Getting a page rank?
So I did check out trying to convince myself, and yeah… true indeed, got greens!! Yippeeee! What made me happier is the fact that five out of my six blogs all had PRs already (the sixth being so new, just two weeks ago)!! My hubby could not relate to what I was telling him about the greens as I myself still could not fathom how Mr. G gives out these rewards. But nevertheless, I am very happy with all the good news we have this week. I just hope that Mr. G won’t take it back that soon… 🙂
June 24, 2011, 9:48 in the evening, Baby John Job Labado finally went out of my protective womb to see the world his parents have prepared for him.
It was about 9 in the morning when the bloody show came, I was still not sure if it was really the signal of the start of labor because the discharge was just brownish in color. There were no labor pains yet, but during lunchtime, there were short pangs of pain and so it was confirmed. By 4 in the afternoon, I was already sure that I was already in labor. The intervals were shorter and the pain was getting stronger.
Hubby already reserved a room in one of the hospitals in Tagbilaran City, so by 6:30 we were already on our way. When I was admitted already, my OB-Gyne did the IE and she was just so surprised when she found out that I was already 8 cm dilated. I was not also expecting that, all the while, I thought I was only about 4 or 5 cm dilated. So the nurses had me changed and was at the delivery table after. It took me about 7 to 8 pushes and this time, I really had a hard time letting the baby out… the final push was with my hubby’s help. He had fundal pressure on me and I just pushed with all my might, and then he came… 🙂
Although Glee Season 2 has already ended, I am still addicted to it. For the last two Sundays, I have been watching the Glee-athon in Star World. I just love Glee to bits and for the past weeks too, I have been constantly listening to a collection of Glee songs that I have bought a few months ago. Of course, all of the songs are my favorite, but there’s one song that really stands out for me. It’s actually an old song, and Glee’s Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) sang this one. I feel a bit melancholic today and so just don’t mind me… here’s the song…
