Hands Full of Life

Tomorrow is school day again (well, in this part of the world)! I am going to school to bring my little boy. This just signals that summer 2011 has ended already, officially that is. I have particularly loved this summer because it was a kind of wet summer. In a week, it would rain for at least two days, alleviating the heat from the summer sun. As a pregnant woman, it is so comforting to me when it rains because the rain breeze and colder  temperature eases and relieves me from the “super hot feeling.”

Unlike the other year’s summer (2010), it was just the complete opposite! Temperatures were soaring high and I remember praying for rains and typhoons to come! Imagine that! It was really a hot summer that we almost did not want to go out of the house or to the beach. There were also rolling black outs in the country that summer. We always had a supply of candles and aaa rechargeable batteries, flashlights and other stuff. Good thing I was not pregnant that time, had I been, it would be torture!

So thankfully, summer 2011 turned out to be a very good summer indeed! Now, it’s back to school and in a few weeks from now, I will be a mommy again I can’t wait!
