Was Convinced
When I was still single and working, I remember insurance agents talking their way to convince me to get an insurance for me and my family. The agents were all explaining to me about the different terms about insurance like premiums, dependents, cd type annuities, payments and so much more. They really did their best since I was persuaded to get one and apply for an insurance.
I was able to pay for a few month’s premium but when I stopped working, got married and relocated, I stopped paying for the premium. I know it was already my investment and that I have already shelled out some amount, but I guess I was so “innocent” and “naive” those days that getting an insurance was not my priority. But now, things have changed, now that I have children of my own, securing their future is of greater importance.
