Family Bonding While Doing the Groceries

One of the activities that my family loves to do together is to shop and mostly, it is doing the groceries. We love to trace the all grocery lanes and check out the racks for new products. I pick up the stuff and place them in the cart, while hubby pushes the cart, the little boy, tries to arrange (or disarrange) the grocery items. If there are items that don’t have price tags, we drop by a barcode scanner to check for the price. I make sure that the things in my list are bought, for the extra stuff like snack foods, that usually goes last. When everything’s done, we head off to the cashier and pay. Somehow, my family finds grocery-ing a reprieve from all the routines and it is a good way too to bond with my boys.

Would You Be a Cool Parent?

I hope to be someday, so I took a quiz to find out if I would be a cool parent soon when my two little boys grow up. The result?

You Will Be a Cool Parent

You seem to naturally know a lot about parenting, and you know what kids need.
You can tell when it’s time to let kids off the hook, and when it’s time to lay down the law.

While your parenting is modern and hip, it’s not over the top.

You know that there’s nothing cool about a parent who acts like a teenager… or a drill sergeant!

Oh yeah! I will be! 🙂 So if you want to know if you’ll be a cool parent, go ahead, take the quiz now!

Passport is Here!

Baby Job’s passport is here in our hands already! Finally, the last piece to our family picture is complete! Probably in a few months, the family will be off to somewhere and start anew.

Last October 21, we were at the Queen City of the South for an appointment at the Foreign Affairs office for  Baby Job’s passport application. And yesterday, the travel agency informed us that the passport is already ready for pick up. We also had Baby Job’s ID pictures taken. These two and some other forms are the last ones to accomplish and when this is done, we might, hopefully, fly off to some place else.

I hope and pray that everything will fall into place and that our plans will soon be realized.
